IMF agrees to include China’s RMB in benchmark SDR currency basket – CNBC: November 30th:

An historic development for the world’s monetary system, the Chinese yuan, or renminbi, to its baset of special drawing rights which already includes the US$, the Japanese yen, the pound sterling, and the Euro.  It will join the sdr basket in October of 2016 and take the global economy one step closer to a Kondratieff Spring.
